Description

We are looking for caring and compassionate individuals to carry out identified home care services for adults living in their own homes.

We promote independence and autonomy, and ensure our representatives deliver services in a respectful and dignified manner taking into consideration privacy and confidentiality.

The role of a Home Support Assistant is varied and rewarding, no two days are the same.

You will be enrolled on to a rigorous training programme, which will include community training with a senior carer followed by a course of in house training sessions. These sessions will include:

  1. Induction to Health & Social Care
  2. Induction to HLCS
  3. Moving and Handling
  4. Medication
  5. Health & Safety
  6. Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults
  7. Food Hygiene and Hydration

There is a wealth of other training available, including a Diploma in Health & Social Care and we will help you decide what is right for you. You will be given the assistance, guidance and support you need at every stage of your training to enable you to learn the skills you need to successfully complete each module.

You will need to have a full driving licence and access to a car.

We will provide all the training and equipment you need, including a uniform.
